Finding Help, Holding Forth the Word of Life
Finding Help, Holding Forth the Word of Life
An invitation from Christian White, pastor and author of The Enigma Chronicles
Since my salvation in 1977, I have devoted my life to pointing people toward Jesus Christ and the truth of Scripture. From that beginning, I knew God had called me to be a pastor. I was first licensed in ministry in 1986, and today I continue serving as a full-time local pastor.
That calling—rooted in following Christ since 1977 and forty years of licensed ministry—continues to guide my work and the purpose of The Enigma Chronicles.
The Pastoral Purpose Behind the Books
The Enigma Chronicles grew from a desire to help people understand spiritual darkness and find their way toward Jesus Christ. These two volumes examine its historical expressions, the modern occult revival, and the biblical conflict between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.
This is a theological work grounded in Scripture and supported by historical research. My aim is to help readers recover the biblical worldview reflected in the writings of Scripture. Evidence, interpretation, and speculation must be distinguished carefully, with Scripture remaining the authority by which conclusions are tested.
My concern is also personal. During my younger years, I experienced frightening nighttime disturbances and an unhealthy fascination with darkness. Those experiences left a lasting impression. Coming to faith in Jesus Christ shaped my desire to help others who feel frightened, confused, or spiritually burdened.
A Pastoral Invitation
Some people carry concerns they hesitate to discuss—even with those closest to them. They may fear being dismissed, misunderstood, judged, or made into someone else’s public story.
If that describes you, I want to offer a place to begin a respectful pastoral conversation.
You do not have to tell everything at once. You do not have to appear in a video, podcast, or public testimony. You do not have to purchase my books to ask for help.
My desire is to listen, pray with you, and help you consider your concerns in the light of Scripture. A troubling experience deserves careful attention. We will consider possible causes thoughtfully, and appropriate medical or mental health care can accompany pastoral support.
Developing a Biblical Response
Our conversations can help you develop a practical response suited to your circumstances. Together, we may consider:
Turning toward Jesus in faith, prayer, and repentance where needed.
Understanding what Scripture teaches about fear, temptation, spiritual warfare, and our security in Christ.
Examining practices or influences that may need to be left behind.
Establishing healthy boundaries and support within your home and relationships.
Connecting with a trustworthy local pastor and other appropriate help.
Developing manageable steps and following up on how you are doing.
Material from The Enigma Chronicles, including its discussion of exousia—authority—along with excerpts from my Psalm 91 teaching and other relevant biblical studies, may serve as resources for prayer, understanding, and practical pastoral guidance. The foundation of this ministry is Jesus Christ and His Word.
Ephesians 6:10–18 directs believers toward strength in the Lord, the armor of God, and prayer. James 4:7–8 calls us to submit to God, resist the devil, and draw near to Him. Philippians 2:15–16 calls us to shine as lights while holding forth the word of life.
These passages establish the direction: dependence squarely on Jesus, faithful obedience, and confidence grounded in the Bible. The goal is to help you become better equipped to walk with Christ and receive support within a faithful Christian community.
Teaching That Serves People
Questions arising from pastoral conversations may inform future teaching, helping others address similar concerns. Personal details will be protected, and identifiable experiences will not be shared without explicit permission. Receiving support carries no obligation to contribute to public content.
There is an urgency for the Church to expose the works of darkness and hold forth the word of life. That work should be marked by truth, compassion, humility, and care for the people seeking help.
A Place to Begin
If you would welcome an initial conversation, email enigmac26@gmail.com.
Share only what you feel comfortable sharing. If a telephone conversation would be helpful, we can arrange a time. Before discussing sensitive details, we can also talk about privacy, confidentiality, and their limits.
This ministry offers pastoral support and prayer. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, medical care, or medication management.
This is pastoral support by appointment, rather than an emergency or continuously monitored service.
My purpose is to serve you and help you turn toward Jesus Himself.
